The Habit of Overthinking

Hey Guys, 

So, this week I found myself overthinking many things. In the past, I use to overthink a lot more than I do now and stress myself out in situations that were only in my mind. 

There were times where I thought the whole world was crashing down on me but in reality, I was just feeling 'stuck'. If you have listened to our podcasts prior to reading this, then you would know we believe that there is no such thing as being 'stuck'. So at these times, it was just me and my thoughts creating those feelings and situations for myself.

In the past year, I learned how to de-stress, stop overthinking, and live happily in the moment instead of creating situations for myself that haven't even manifested in the world or aren't even close to what is really happening.

So now going back to this week I came across a post that I saw and honestly, I felt it was just at the right time that I needed it. The post reminded me that these things I'm putting so much thought, effort and time into arent worth it and it's only wasting my energy for me to continue to dwell on things that are beyond my present control. The post gave me a wake-up call and made it easier for me to focus on clearing my thoughts, letting them go, and become mindfully present.
